A promotional event for the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province – "Asian Games 10 Cities Tour" – concluded in its final stop in China's capital Beijing on Thursday.
The tour began in the host city on May 30, 2021 and went though Shanghai, Xi'an, Tianjin, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xiamen, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and eventually Beijing. Its novel style and rich activities connected the cities in the name of the Asian Games while drawing more attention all over the country to the Games that will happen from September 23 to October 8.
The presentation "Asian Games Talk" was held in Beijing Sports University on Thursday morning. Chen Weiqiang, executive secretary general of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, spoke at the presentation about the preparations for the Games. He said that it has been their goal to hold an exciting edition of the Games.

A promotional "fun run," titled "Asian Games UP," was held at the Beijing Olympic Park on Thursday afternoon. As a combination of the elements of both the Asian Games and the Olympic Games, the run became a unique source of entertainment for the participants and spectators.
Later on the day, the concert "Asian Games Music" was staged at the park while the official theme song of the Games, "With You And Me," was released, expressing the sincere wishes for unity and friendship.
"Distinctive symbols including mascots and promotion song can make the Asian Games much more identifiable," said Huang Haifeng, deputy secretary general of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.
