A new episode of "Aerial China" featuring China's Taiwan region will be aired at 9 p.m. BJT on a CCTV channel.

The episode is part of the fourth season of "Aerial China," a sweeping documentary produced by China Media Group (CMG) that shows a familiar and fresh view of China's beauty, ecology and civilization. It uses first-class aerial photography with a macro aerial perspective to focus on the micro stories of ordinary people, according to Xue Jijun, a CMG editorial board member.

Season four was filmed in 11 provincial-level administrative regions in the country: Beijing, Chongqing, the provinces of Liaoning, Henan, Hubei and Qinghai, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administration Regions and the Taiwan region.

"We reunite under the rain in Taipei, reminisce at the tranquil harbor and savor the island's fascination," a promotional video of the episode said.
