China is ramping up efforts to nurture exceptional young research talent ready to contribute to the country's socioeconomic development. Through a program launched by the China Association for Science and Technology, outstanding middle-school students are given the opportunity to conduct hands-on research alongside top scientists. CGTN's Huang Yichang spoke to one promising teen to learn more about the program.
