Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital, built in Phnom Penh with a Chinese government grant by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, has 400 beds and boasts the latest high-tech medical equipment. It also features a traditional Chinese medicine department.
This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia. It's also "China-Cambodia Friendship Year." CGTN stringer Nan Fang recently visited this China-funded medical facility to learn more about its operations. Dr. Koeurng Raksmiy told her that the hospital's nationwide services have benefited Cambodians tremendously, and that they have a very high opinion of Chinese medicine.
