At least one person was killed and dozens were injured in Ukraine after Russia fired a barrage of missiles early Monday morning, according to Ukrainian officials.
Kherson regional authorities reported one death and three injuries, while Serhiy Lysak, the head of Dnipro, reported 25 injuries.
Ukraine said it had intercepted 15 out of 18 missiles launched by Russian forces, according to Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces.
Russia did not immediately comment on the attack.
