At least 10 people were killed and 2 others injured in a shooting in Ecuador's largest city Guayaquil on Saturday night, local media has reported, citing police.

An unidentified gunman stormed a garage in the southwestern city of Guayaquil at around 8 p.m. on Saturday, shooting people inside before fleeing the scene. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
