Philippine president's visit to the U.S. draws protest and criticism

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House on Monday. The four-day visit follows a recent decision to allow U.S. forces access to more Philippine military bases. There were mixed reactions from Filipinos. Several labor groups staged different protests around the country. One of the main protests was in front of the U.S. embassy.
