Rockets were fired from Gaza after Palestinian hunger striker Khader Adnan died on Tuesday, AFP reported.
Adnan, who was affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group, died in an Israeli prison on Tuesday after an 87-day hunger strike, according to media reports citing Israeli prison authorities.
Israel's missile alert system sounded early Tuesday morning in the south of the country, adjacent to the Gaza Strip, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
An alert was activated in the area of Kibbutz Saad, and it identified three launches from Gaza, the IDF said via Twitter.
