Argentine athletes competed in a dragon boat race in the bay city of Belen de Escobar to celebrate the upcoming National Youth Day in China, which falls on May 4. Organized by the Dragon Boat Association Argentina, the race attracted dozens of dragon boat teams nationwide. Paddlers competed vigorously in the categories of women's, men's, and mixed as spectators lined the beaches to cheer them on. In accordance with the sport's customs, the boats were decorated with colorful dragon heads and tails. A team of around 10 paddlers manned each boat.
