Syrian, Iranian presidents meet in Damascus

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday met with visiting Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Damascus.
According to Syrian state news agency SANA, a welcome ceremony for the Iranian president was held at the Syrian presidential palace shortly after he landed. Official talks between the two presidents began after the ceremony.
