U.S. central command says targets senior Al Qaeda leader in strike in northwest Syria

The U.S. Central Command said in a statement on Wednesday that the U.S. forces targeted senior Al Qaeda leader in a strike in northwest Syria, saying more information will be provided as operational details become available.
"This operation reaffirms CENTCOM's steadfast commitment to the region and the enduring defeat of ISIS and Al Qaeda," according to the statement.
