Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo on Thursday reiterated support for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict with Russia, saying his government is preparing a new package of military aid for Ukraine and examining how frozen Russian assets could be used to help Ukraine.
Speaking at a joint press conference with the Belgian and Dutch prime ministers, held in The Hague on Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for more weapons from Western governments, saying it's important to deliver the weapons to Ukraine as quickly as possible.
At the press conference, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte also vowed unwavering support for Ukraine, adding that Russia must be held accountable for what he said were crimes of aggression and other war crimes.
