One person was fatally shot and at least four others injured in a shooting in a Midtown Atlanta building. A 24-year-old suspect, Deion Patterson, has been caught after an extensive manhunt that lasted several hours.

Including the shooting at the Atlanta medical facility, there have been at least 190 mass shootings in the United States this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
