In February this year, an American unmanned vessel used for monitoring and intelligence gathering was discovered off the coast of Namibia. Sizo Nkala, a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Africa-China Studies (CACS) at the University of Johannesburg, expressed his opinions during an exclusive interview with China Media Group (CMG).

He said out that the U.S. only considers its own interests when conducting diplomatic relations with African countries, and that it treats Africa as a pawn in its major power struggle and geopolitical activities.
