"We will continue to upgrade our model," Liu said. "We aim to exceed ChatGPT's capabilities in Chinese language by October 24, and will achieve a similar level to it in English."
Liu added that SparkDesk has already had better performance than ChatGPT in terms of text generation, knowledge-based question-answering, and mathematical ability when prompted in Chinese language.
Apart from the above mentioned, a general AI model should be capable of performing tasks in seven areas including solving problems, logic deduction, coding, and multimodal understanding, according to Liu.
SpartDesk will provide service in multimodal input and output with its next version expected in August, the company said.
The emergence of artificial general intelligence will bring brand new opportunities for traditional work, "empowering every creative person to become an entrepreneur under the digital economy," Liu said.
