Over 50 students ill as gas smell reported at Japan school

At least 51 students fell ill following gas smell at an elementary school in Japan's Osaka, local media Kyodo News reported Monday.
According to state broadcaster NHK, their symptoms are mild and some pupils were taken to the hospital amid ongoing investigation into the incident.
The fire department said there's a gas-like smell outdoors around the elementary school in Osaka's Yao City but so far the cause is unknown.
