Groups of wild animals were captured on camera as they strolled in a nature reserve in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at the beginning of May.
A sudden snowfall hit the Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang on May 4, covering the Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve in white.
Wild yaks were seen walking around the wetlands at the foot of the snow-capped Altun Mountains, foraging for food, cloak of snow covering their black manes.
Tibetan donkeys also roamed the wetlands in the snow, sometimes stopping for a rest.
The majestic snowy peaks, vast grasslands and groups of wild animals together formed a picturesque plateau scenery.
