Officials and scholars specializing in international relations gathered in Beijing on Tuesday for a seminar themed the "international community around us". Participants agreed that taking good care of foreigners living in China is an important supplement to Chinese foreign policy, and civil diplomacy should be practiced in people-to-people relations whenever possible.
