Aerial video shows how an ancient building complex of the Yi ethnic group integrates with the surrounding natural environment in Guizhou Province, southwest China. The complex is modeled after an ancient government office from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Because it is built against a mountain, the nine palaces within the complex rise higher as they follow the terrain of the mountain, creating a magnificent view.
