A Long March-7 rocket carrying the Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft was vertically transported to the launchpad at Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province on Sunday. The facilities and equipment at the launch site are in good condition, and various pre-launch checks and joint tests will be carried out as planned, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
Marking the inaugural launch mission for the China Space Station since it commenced full-scale operations this year, Tianzhou-6 aims to transport various supplies. These include everyday essentials and consumables for taikonauts, scientific payloads, maintenance components and propellants.
