Islamic Jihad says one commander killed in Israeli strike

An Israeli air strike in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday killed Ahmed Abu Daqqa, a senior commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the faction said.
Four people were also wounded in the strike near Khan Younis, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
The Israel Defense Forces earlier in the day said via Twitter that it is currently attacking targets of the PIJ organization in the Gaza Strip.
