IMF: China remains the economic engine for APAC and rest of the globe

Krishna Srinivasan, Director of Asia and Pacific Department of the IMF, stated during a report meeting about the Regional Economic Outlook on May 11th, that the Asia-Pacific is expected to contribute about 70% of global growth in 2023, with China responsible for around 34.9% of that growth, principally driven by consumption.
