In an interview with CGTN anchor Xu Qinduo, Scott Kennedy, a senior adviser & trustee chair in Chinese business and economics from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said that the goal of U.S. policy is not to decouple with China, but de-risking. Both China and the U.S. are capable of stopping the vicious circle by adopting more policies of greater reassurance to drum up more optimism.
