Surrounded by green mountains, Dongqian Lake in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, is the largest freshwater lake in east China's Zhejiang Province.
The lake, a famous scenic spot in Zhejiang, has a circumference of 45 kilometers and an area of 22 square kilometers.
The traditional folk houses by Dongqian Lake retain the architectural style of regions south of the Yangtze River in Ming and Qing dynasties, with white walls and black tiles.
