In an exclusive interview with CGTN anchor Wang Guan, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is very positive on recent proposals put forward by China, including building a Community of Shared Future, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Development Initiative and the Global Civilizations Initiative. They are "a real contribution to building a more predictable world in the future and in general," says Tokayev.
He also admires China's development path, summarized as the Chinese path to modernization, because it shows "modernization doesn't necessarily mean Westernization." That said, it doesn't refuse learning from others, so that all countries improve and develop themselves, on condition that there should be no interference in domestic affairs of any countries from outside.
