China is set to host the inaugural China-Central Asia Summit on May 18 and 19 in Xian, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and it has invited the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to attend one of its key diplomatic events of 2023.
Kairat Serikov from Kazakhstan grew up in a Chinese community. He says that he has loved Chinese culture since childhood, especially Jackie Chan's movies and Chinese food. He was deeply attracted by the diligence and kindness of the Chinese people, and hopes that the upcoming China-Central Asia Summit in Xian will draw a new blueprint for multilateral relations and usher in a new era of cooperation.
