An offshore drilling platform of the Enping oilfield, Enping 20-4, began the float-over installation of its topside in the waters of the Pearl River Estuary in south China's Guangdong Province. The Enping oilfield complex is the first of its kind in China to adopt a smart and green design plan from the very beginning. It has implemented an unmanned production process during typhoon periods to ensure safe operation of the oilfield, making it China's most intelligent unmanned oilfield platform so far.
