The China-Central Asia Summit is scheduled to open on May 18 in the northwest Chinese city of Xian. President Xi Jinping will chair the event. His counterparts are from the five Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. CGTN's Natalie Carney is in Almaty, the biggest city in Kazakhstan, ahead of the upcoming summit.
