The preliminary results of Türkiye's presidential election indicate President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is failing to secure a first-round win, even though the current ballot count shows he's received over 49 percent of the votes. Wang Jin, professor from the Institute of Middle East Studies at Northwest University of China, says that the country's diplomatic policies might be strongly influenced by this election.
