Xian, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, leverages its advantages as an important Belt and Road city to deepen the China-Central Asia ties.

In the first quarter of 2023, its trade volume with countries along the Belt and Road grew by over 40 percent, hitting a total value of 93.35 billion yuan ($13.5 billion).
