Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he will meet UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London on Monday.
"Today – London. The UK is a leader when it comes to expanding our capabilities on the ground and in the air. This cooperation will continue today. I will meet my friend Rishi. We will conduct substantive negotiations face-to-face and in delegations," he tweeted.
The UK government confirmed the arrival of Zelenskyy in London on Monday morning, noting that the UK government will announce more military aid to support Ukraine when the two leaders are scheduled to meet later in the day.
"Today the Prime Minister will confirm the further UK provision of hundreds of air defense missiles and further unmanned aerial systems including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200km," the UK government said in a statement.
Zelenskyy met the leaders of Germany and France as well as Italian officials over the weekend.
