As the U.S.'s COVID-era border policy, widely known as Title 42, has expired, a humanitarian crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border is growing as the asylum seekers are camping out in harsh conditions, hoping to get entry. Why are the Latinos risking their lives to cross the border illegally? To a certain extent, it's just the U.S. which has interfered in the internal affairs and undermined the economy of the Latin American countries, leading to economic recession and social unrest that caused this crisis. But the Democrats and Republicans are only trying to shift blame onto each other and kicking the issue around like a political football.
