Former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Djoomart Otorbaev points out that it's exciting for Central Asian countries to be neighbors with the world's fastest growing economy. He says trade between China and Central Asia has increased from $700 million 30 years ago to $70 billion. If Central Asian nations can participate in China's modernization, the region will once again play the role of the bridge between Asia and Europe, promoting Eurasian trade and the development of the region.
