The Sanxingdui Ruins, located in Guanghan, southwest China's Sichuan Province, are known as one of the world’s greatest archaeological findings of the 20th century. The first Sanxingdui relics were discovered by a farmer in 1929 and excavation has continued ever since. The bug-eyed head sculptures and mysterious gold masks, along with a big collection of unearthed bronze relics have excited many archaeologists and enthusiasts over the years.
