The China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Mayors Forum started on Wednesday in Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province.
Government officials and representatives from 22 cities of seven countries in Central and Eastern Europe and 32 cities of 14 provinces in China attended the forum alongside entrepreneurs, experts and scholars.
The theme of this year's forum is green development, and participants shared their experience in green city construction.
Ningbo's Mayor Tang Feifan said at the forum that the city will further expand the green and low-carbon industry development and promote sustainable development.
Ningbo will also accelerate the construction of Zhejiang's demo zone for China-CEEC trade cooperation and the Ningbo area of the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone, bringing their cooperation to a deeper and higher level.
