The first ever China-Central Asia Summit will be held in Xian, which is important to further develop China-Central Asia relations. Zhang Xiao, China's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, recently sat down with CGTN's Wang Guan and pointed out that China and the five Central Asian countries (C5) share a common history, similar cultural customs and common aspirations. The upcoming summit will undoubtedly strengthen cooperation in the region and benefit its people. The event will also contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative's high-quality development with the C5, according to Ambassador Zhang.
