China, Kazakhstan to enhance cooperation in innovation: joint statement

China and Kazakhstan vowed to enhance cooperation in innovation and clean energy, according to a joint statement issued on Wednesday during Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's state visit to China.
Both sides agreed to promote trade expansion and facilitation, deepen pragmatic cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and expand cooperation in new areas such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, big data and 5G.
