Shuhe Ancient Town, located four kilometers northwest of Lijiang Ancient City in Yunnan Province, China, is a small town that has a history of over a thousand years. As part of Lijiang Ancient City, Shuhe Ancient Town boasts well-preserved ancient paths, markets, and nearly a thousand traditional homes.

Many of the residents are of the Naxi ethnic group and the town is one of the earliest settlements of Naxi people in the area. Since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Shuhe has attracted many artisans engaged in leather processing and other handicrafts, making it a bustling center along the Ancient Tea Horse Road and a hub for Naxi cultural exchange.
