We Talk: What impresses residents of Kyrgyzstan about Chinese culture?
China is set to host the inaugural China-Central Asia Summit on May 18 and 19 in Xian, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. It has invited the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to attend one of its key diplomatic events of 2023.
CGTN stringer Hua Tengxing, who lives in Kyrgyzstan, went to the streets of capital Bishkek to learn from young locals about their impressions of China. The locals said they were interested in China's economy and education. One young person who studied in China said that she was impressed by the Chinese culture of respecting parents and family reunions.
