This year marks the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and five Central Asian countries. Over the past three decades, bilateral trade has yielded fruitful results, thanks in large part to the rapid development of the railway system. In Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi province, container yards are bustling with activity as freight trains carry goods to and from Central Asia, benefitting exporters on both sides.
