China and Tajikistan vowed to expand mutually beneficial cooperation under the framework of the Community of Shared Future Initiative and on the basis of the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, the inviolability of borders and non-interference in internal affairs, according to a joint statement issued on Thursday during Tajik President Emomali Rahmon's state visit to China.
Both sides agreed to continue supporting each other on core issues involving sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
The two sides will also enhance cooperation in fields including trade, investment, agriculture and food security, according to the statement.
