Kalyan Minaret: a symbol of past centuries in Uzbekistan

Constructed in 1127, Kalyan Minaret is one of the highest structures in Bukhara of Uzbekistan, standing at a height of 46.5 meters. The historical tower has played a significant role in different periods of the city's history, including the religious purpose of the call for Muslim prayers in the beginning, for military use as an observation post later and shining as a beacon for trade caravans.
