Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday held talks in Xi'an with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who is in China for the China-Central Asia Summit and a state visit.
Xi recalled his state visit to Tajikistan in 2019, during which they jointly announced the building of a China-Tajikistan community of common development and security, which has seen encouraging progress over the past four years.
President Rahmon said he believes that the in-depth development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China is in line with the fundamental interests of the two countries and their peoples.
