The COVID-19 public health emergency has finally ended. With 7 million lives lost and families and communities shattered, the pandemic has left our world in turmoil. For over 1,200 days, humanity stood together in the face of an unprecedented global public health crisis. Looking back and reflecting on the last three years, important lessons were learned and valuable experiences gained. Heroic sacrifices and scientific breakthroughs were made. Less positively, disputes and disinformation divided our communities. It may have been a short period of time in human history, but for this generation, the memories of the biggest health crisis in our lifetime will never fade. CGTN has launched "End of Emergency," a 20-minute documentary to show our reflections on the pandemic.
