China has launched joint educational training programs with Central Asian countries. The number of Central Asian students studying in China increased from about 12,000 to around 30,000 from 2010 to 2018, with an average annual growth rate of about 12%. Professor Liu Baocheng from the University of International Business and Economics says people-to-people exchanges bring tangible benefits to the people of Central Asia.
