Manas the Great is a legendary hero of the Kyrgyz people, having been described in traditional epic poems dating to the 18th century. His statue is located on the Ala-Too Square in the center of Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is a must-see tourist spot for many visitors.
