Chinese President Xi Jinping planted friendship trees with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan at the Xi'an International Convention Center after the China-Central Asia Summit on May 19.
The six pomegranate trees the leaders planted bear witness to the 1,000 years of friendly exchanges between China and Central Asia. They also symbolize the close solidarity and cooperation between China and Central Asia, and represent hope for a better future of China-Central Asia relations.
