A cargo train carrying 100 containers of goods bound for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan departed Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province on Thursday, marking the 15,000th trip of the two-way train service between the city and the five Central Asian countries.

The train will pass through Horgos Port in southwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in a few days, transporting materials such as ceramic tiles and tires to cities in Central Asian countries.
