Biden calls Republican debt ceiling proposals 'unacceptable'

U.S. President Joe Biden slammed Republican debt ceiling proposals as 'unacceptable' and reiterated that "default is not an option" at a news conference after attending the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, on Sunday.
He also said he had proposed a spending cut plan.
