As a tributary of the Yuanjiang River in South China, the Wuyang River originates from Weng'an County in southwest China's Guizhou Province and runs through both Guizhou and Hunan provinces. The rolling mountains and the limpid river create a magnificent view, earning it the name of "gallery of ancient Chinese paintings." Along the winding river, Zhuge Gorge, Longwang Gorge and Xi Gorge in Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province is known as "Three Gorges of the Wuyang River."
